I'm over 40, still go to concerts, and listen to new music. I might be a special case since studied music, play piano, and strings {not a lot any more you know job etc..}. My brother is in a band {indie type label} sometimes they will play with a big name band or just popular indie and I get to meet them this makes concerts much more fun.

That's what I saw when I opened it in gimp but imagine it is still white and gold and that the photo appears blue because of reflected light. Which is one of those things that happen with some materials used in womens clothing. It is often an intentional effect like a white cami with a little sheen that will reflect the colors of the other garments they are wearing. My wife has a few of those A.K.A goes with just about anything.

Right but we are talking about the mars rover team dealing with that schedule while on earth. If everyone on mars has an extra 40 minutes I would think it would be easier to adapt when facilities, services, and the sun are all on the same clock.

I think the biggest problem would be those on the mars days are here on earth and all the life around them is moving on the regular earth cycle... I can't have lunch at my favorite restaurant, go to the bank, etc... because my days are out of sync. Those people in the Arctic Circle are all on the same clock as businesses and everyone else around them.

I got a call from a new admin today having trouble with some large files after he transfered them over a network and so I asked him how he verified the files weren't corrupted like fciv... Is that in the command line??? yes.

I built a kit for my nontechnical brother and he decided he didn't want to spring for windows and just install ubuntu. I was worried his wife would be mad at me because we didn't install windows {he said he would buy windows if she threw a fit}. I found out all the things she did on it which amounts to checking email, paying bills, youtube, facebook, and a few java game sites. I installed KDE not windows themed but layed out similar and made sure it wasn't missing anything and that she would be able to access everything she listed. She is really happy with it, I guess having an android tablet and cell phone had already shown her that windows isn't required.

I use telnet and SFTP, FTPS [not ftp] all the time, but when you say internet I think of a jerk facebooking and playing games on his smart phone constantly, while having a conversation, in the line at the grocery store, while driving, while on the pot... and I think we really screwed that up.

I scared my son and his friends one day they were in the down stairs family room watching a movie and I sent my cell camera to the roku and said "Hey! I saw that you are all in trouble" and then turned it off. One of them actually screamed.

Not everyone follows the rules, including teachers.

Probably the weirdest conversation I had with a group of 20-something elementary teachers was them telling me how they watch the co-worker I share an office with cycle to work every morning as he passes by because he is so hot in bicycle shorts.

There were four boys in my youngest sons class in elementary school on some type of ADD or ADHD medication out of about twenty five boys. I only know this because I spoke with their parents and they told me about it I have no idea what the actual percentage for the class was, I probably only ever met ten of them. He also had a couple friends a grade ahead of him that were on ADD medication.

When I was a kid it was almost unheard of for an elementary kid to be medicated like this. Now it's common place and their parents and teachers are popping Prozac and Wellbutrin like M&Ms.

I'm sure that if I were a child today I would be diagnosed with all kinds of disorders ADD, ADHD, ASD, OCD, etc... Today kids are diagnosed with those type disorders at the drop of a hat and often times by school teachers and school counselors based on one or two incidents that happen in a.the classroom. I have five sons and every last one of them had a teacher like that. They all grew up to be normal and healthy.

Last summer my brother brought over a projector he had from when he was in college it cost around $900 at the time and is comparable to todays $200-$300 projectors. We set up a screen using a unused drop cloth in the back yard against the garage. We had BBQ and watched a few movies the family thought it was great even the neighbor came out and was talking about being reminded of the movies in the park when he was kid only this looked a lot better. I've been considering building a theater in my basement kind of a man cave with a nice hd projector ever since.

I don't know, auto manufactures recall and replace parts when it's a concern of safety. I've had working parts replaced for free because of designs flaws that might cause the breaks or seat belts to fail, the dealership even contacted me and scheduled it.

If it limits your ability to browse today, especially to site you want to visit then it is relevant when choosing a browser to use.

As far as data 20 years from now, much of the data I keep aside from music and family photos will not be relevant in 20 years. Warranty information, order confirmations, receipts, and shipping information for products I've purchased is usually only needed until the warranty expires in 1-3 years. How long does software last 1-2 years or less before a new major revision makes it entirely obsolete and you are unable to upgrade with out purchasing a new copy. if you purchased it on cd/dvd there's not much point, if it's open source then it's likely to be available with the latest patches somewhere on the internet. I don't keep financial or banking records in digital format but even then 7-10 years. The size of drives keep going up.
