He's accused of conspiring to traffic guns and commit wire fraud, to defraud citizens of honest services, and bribery. The complant (PDF) also names 25 other defendants. Yee is known for pushing legislation that would ban the sale of violent video games to minors. "Federal prosecutors also allege Yee agreed to perform official acts in exchange for the money, including one instance in which he introduced a businessman to state legislators who had significant influence over pending medical marijuana legislation. In exchange, the businessman -- who was actually an undercover FBI agent -- agreed to donate thousands to Yee's campaign fund, according to the indictment. The indictment also describes an August 2013 exchange in which [former school board president Keith Jackson] told an undercover officer that Yee had an arms trafficking contact. Jackson allegedly said Yee could facilitate a meeting for a donation."

I merely posted a link pointing out that it's ALREADY mandatory to accept water services.

I don't think facebook will become a requirement but I happen to agree with his gist. I think its not only probable but very likely that we will see a requirement for an mandatory internet ID assigned at birth during our lifetimes. You already hear it from the cries of government officials clamoring about all the anonymity on the internet.

It's already mandatory to receive power and water thanks to the International Code Council

There's more at play here than Netflix and "Hollywood".

You have wal-mart, Best Buy and Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Redbox and other stores/physical places that continue to market DVDs.

Getting rid of the DVD market means that the marketing of movies falls from many stores to a *few* streaming providers which would give them far more leverage on pricing and distribution then Hollywood is ready to give up.

Also, streaming movies has relatively expensive up front costs requiring internet service and a decoder box plus an additional monthly fee that some people can't afford. (Let alone the older generation that can't figure out all that new-fangled GOOEY menu streaming stuff... and have enough problems just putting a disc in their DVD player!)

Everything "works" fine so long as you can throw money at it.

The problem is, and as you've seen over the last several years, you eventually run out of other people's money.
