I've lost track over the past 40 years or so, all the OS's I've used. Sort of like programming languages. Windows popularized home PCs. Didit/does it suck for security? Yes. Every OS has holes though, even if it is social engineering (as you know). Hate Windows? Nope., preferred Desqview when Windows 3 came out. Hate MS? A bit. MS business practices? Absolutely hate.
