The stupidest thing is that nobody even really uses tablets.
People do use tablets. I use my nexus 7 quite a lot. With Android, which I think is best for phones and tablets. As Ubuntu is the best for desktops, or at least used to be.
I wish Canonical would concentrate on making a linux for the destkop with usable UI. Every move they make towards tablets, touch pc's and phones makes Ubuntu worse for desktop users. Which are also the people contributing most to Ubuntu.

A trusted third party, called the Private Key Generator (PKG), generates the corresponding private keys.
Right. It's the same as PKI, just more complicated.
You heart will beat 2.5 billion times in your lifetime. The slower it beats, the longer you'll live.
Next year, it'll be 35 years that I've been developing software. I have never been dissatisfied with my job. I have never felt lack of energy or lack of enthusiasm to develop new software. I work for customers, as a freelancer, I work on my own projects. And I change the area I work in every five years or so. I may be the oldest Android programmer in the world, but keeping up with state of the art technology keeps me alive. I don't feel old. Nor complacent.
So what's your point?
Their site says "proudly powered by wordpress". Err, "security", "wordpress", isn't that mutually exclusive?
A lot of the child pornography we see comes from servers in Russia. Most of the spam we get comes from servers in Russia. Now, wouldn't it be nice if Russia cuts itself off the internet?
A society that doesn't allow math won't last long.
They do allow math. Just not for everyone. They keep children stupid, except the ones that work for them using and creating technology to keep them in power. The leaders of the group know that Islam - and religion in general - is bull shit, but - as in our countries - religion keeps people dumb and easy to manipulate. As Dostoevski wrote in his parable about the cardinal great-inquisitor.
I am. I know that a power plant is a lot more efficient, but I don't think it's easier to make the plant cleaner than individual cars. If a power plant has an 80% or even 90% efficiency and a car has 30%, the power plant still emits a significant amount, compared to cars with combustion engines. From discussions, especially when politicians are involved, you could think that electrical cars are emission free. They are not.
Btw, the future of cars is synthetic gasoline created by solar panels, not electricity.
because electric vehicles don't cause emission from powerplants.
There's nothing easy about getting various H/W setup on Linux even with the best distro.
I disagree. I have a standard Dell laptop, I put linux on it, no problem. Same with previous three laptops, various makes, never an issue.
They should teach these people how to install linux on their home computers too. It's less confusing to have one os (all linux) than two (linux in the office, windows at home). Maybe even give them a free linux laptop for the home. They can afford that because of the license fee savings for not using windows.
I'll vote for "Windows Gefilte Fisch".
The EU found yet another way of telling me what to do. They should mind their own business, and stop wasting tax money.
