Submission + - Dutch gunman claims to be hacker. What? (bbc.com)

X10 writes: Gunman raids news studio of prime time news on public TV in the Netherlands. He claims he's a hacker, and 98 other hackers are backing him up. He's carrying a gun, not a laptop. He gets arrested without a shot. Which is understandable, his gun was fake. Could easily have gotten him killed. What he wanted was 10 minutes time on air for his message.
So you claim to be a hacker, you go to the studio with a gun? Come on...

What would you do to have your ten minutes of fame on prime time TV, preferably without getting caught and without getting shot?

This issue is coming up every few weeks. Must be a hot topic for a lot of us.

My answer is the same, every time. I'm 60, I've been developing software for about 35 years, right now I make Android apps. I'm happy, and I think I'll stay in this business for one or two more decades.

So what's your point?

Comment size or dpi? (Score 1) 258

I want a small phone with a small screen with the maximum number of pixels possible. And a quad core fast cpu. But what they offer is either a small phone with low dpi and slow cpu, or a high dpi fast cpu phone that is huge. Why can't a fast phone be practical, or a practical phone be fast?
