Comment Re:This helmet scares me. (Score 1) 126

I ride a GSX-R1000. On the street, sometimes on the track. The site says the helmet has a "quick release chin strap". So it's not safe. On the track, a double D is required. I want a double D strap always. That made me want to find more info, but there's surprisingly little info on the quality of the helmet itself. Apparently, it's a cheap helmet. But at $1500, what does the extra $150 matter to make it a safe helmet? I would love to have a helmet with the gadgets that Skully gives us, but not at the cost of safety. What's the use of a heads up display after your skull broke in a crash?

"afaik" because you don't know how other people see colors. Maybe you see orange very well, and you call it "orange", but other people see fifty different shades of orange. Then you're color blind but you don't know. Or whatever.

I thought different pupil sizes are a rare condition. My oldest son has different size pupils when it's a little dark. One pupil gets more than twice the size of the other. This has changed a little when he almost lost an eye during a soccer match.

I guess no two eyes are the same, that goes for one person's eyes too. I see colors more bright with one eye than the other. At the tennis court, one with orange gravel, my left eye sees the gravel as a faded orange, while the right eye sees it as bright orange.
