It's not like the pat-down stuff is codified in law; it's an administrative thing. I'm not sure the administrator of the TSA can be fired by Obama since he was confirmed by the Senate, but in 2012 a new administrator can be nominated that will be able to stop the new search procedures with a simple signed memo.

Why is nobody jumping on that part of the summary? This is typical homeopathic chi bullcrap, like the people complaining of headaches from the nearby (unbeknownst to them long inactive) cell tower that was featured on slashdot awhile ago, and the people who are afraid to hold phones near their heads because they never took freshman level physics.

But 8th graders aren't in any position to make life decisions like dropping out of school. Plenty of problem children straighten out before graduating high school, and for those kids it's a good thing that they've been forced to go to school in the mean time.

Also the minimum age for dropping out is strategically set to be around the age that you can work full time. Any lower and you get very evil child labor. Any higher and kids don't have anything to do when they drop out.

Really, does average person ever have to deal with integrals, derivations... or nearly any other area of abstract algebra... after graduating?

Do you mean graduating high school? Students don't have to take calculus if they don't want to.

Do you mean graduating college? OK come on that's just ridiculous, if you're devoting 4 years of your life to study then you can't really bitch about taking an extremely basic math class like Calculus 1.

Also I'd be astonished if any college required non-math-majors to take abstract algebra.

Talk about a paralyzed, ignorant populace incapable of innovation.

Does anyone know where I can find flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll for the latest update so I can copy the files manually into system32\macromed\flash folder? The only flash xpi I can find was last modified in like 2009.

How can you expect to be competitive with people who have played Counter-Strike most nights for years? If you're just joining there can be no way you can reasonably expect to kill anyone.

That being said, if you're good at video games, you can easily pick up most games and get off the bottom of the scoreboard in about a day. Yes, some games are famously impenetrable like Quake/Warsow arena shooters, but honestly if you haven't picked those games up by now then it's your fault.

If you're bad at video games, well obviously people who are good are going to beat you.
