Comment WTF is that first question? (Score 1) 44

By attempting to inject openness into an intentionally closed ecosystem, do you see yourself as an enabler to that closed ecosystem?

That is to say, open standards are the default on modular personal computers, and almost invariably not present on video game consoles. By giving people who want flexibility a means to use consoles, do you see yourself as inflating those markets and doing long-term harm to actual open systems?

Word salad. He puts consoles into new boxes. How on earth does this do *anything* to the PC marketplace? Let alone "long-term harm" ?

However in the last few years our state has had a conservative government that has systematically tried to defund the hospital. The end result is that waiting times have blown out to be multiple hours for non trauma cases in the emergency ward, and doctors are increasingly overworked and stressed out.

That's a typical Tory/neo-conservative power play: defund the public option, then in a few years gripe how terrible the public option is, and how great the private is!

Because there is very little content for it.

And there's no point in such a high resolution standard for the home user at this point anyway.

On top of that, the very name of the standard is misleading, which puts me against it regardless.
1080p = 1920x1080 pixels. Easy to understand.
4K = 3840×2160 pixels. Why not just call it 2160p so we have something easy to compare to?
