I played to level 31 on a PS3 before buying the Steam version for the PC. The PC version is so much more responsive, not to mention moddable, that there's almost no comparison. The long delays on the PS3 when moving to another area, opening doors & etc. was pure torture.

The main thing I use my Android phone for is playing chess against the computer while recumbent on the couch. Nine dollars seems a bit ridiculous.

It's pointless to say Windows 8 tablets suck - it's like saying Amazon Fires suck. The great thing about Android is it's (sometimes) rootable. If there's a superuser equivalent in a Windows 8 tablet at a reasonable price, I'd buy one anytime.

This is a false premise. Even if there were budget surpluses for decades, the existing debt will have to be continually rolled over into new bonds as the old bonds mature.
