Keep your AC/DC (or Metallica, for that matter), give me KMFDM, Ministry, or Thrill Kill Kult...

But, really, what does this portion of the conversation have to do with aviation electronics? ...Oh, yeah... Iron Man...

--Back to the subject: --

I, personally, feel that, if you are in a small aircraft, maybe you shouldn't be using an ipod/ipad anyway...

Generally, small electronics are more a nuisance than an electrical risk, and should, as such, be banned from any aircraft smaller than 25 passengers, if only for annoyance purposes...

Just my $0.02...

"/ESC/ /ESC/ :wq!" was the first thing I ever learned in vi/vim back 11 years or so ago...

I tried using nano, pico, emacs, etc.

I just couldn't get over the lack of real-estate (standard terminal).

A lot of folks swear at VI/VIM...
I, for one, swear by it...

Now, all I have to do is convince the wife that ANOTHER "computer" book is necessary...

Cheers, guys!

It seems that, in the U.S., there are one of three things that one will receive for writing FOSS software...
1. A mid-range paying job,
2. Jail time for imposing on someone else's patent,
3. A hearty *virtual* slap on the back from one's peers.

Notice that I did not mention Knighthood.

Cheers!

Should the Gov't Pay For Injured Man's Wii? 222

An anonymous reader writes "Politicians in the Australian state of Victoria are currently locked in a debate about whether an injured man should be able to claim the cost of a Nintendo Wii for rehabilitation purposes under worker's compensation. The man's doctor apparently recommended he use the Wii Fit exercise device, but both insurance companies and the government itself have blocked the payment and have now ridiculed the idea as paying for video games. But with the Wii Fit increasingly being used for rehabilitation purposes internationally, does the man have a fair case?"
