My friends and I (mostly) had no problems with social skills or anything of the sort. In fact it was the boys in our friendship group that had the relationships that lasted the longest and were considered the most serious (an all boys school). We were targetted and bullied in school for two reasons - 1) We played Magic: the gathering and Nintendo gameboys rather than play football and... play football and 2) we achieved on the whole better grades than the majority of the bullies. They also seemed to resent the fact that we disagreed with their law that "your social status is defined by your muscular build, ability to repeatedly use the same one-word insults as comebacks and the attractiveness of your current significant other".

I can't see this taking off. The standard 3D glasses are those ones with the different coloured filters in the lenses, which mess up the colours of what you're watching. The good kind are the ones with polarised lenses which, if I'm not mistaken, need some kind of special projector or screen to work properly. Or maybe I'm wrong and they don't. But that's what I've heard.

I actually have no problem with this, considering how anyone that spends much of their life playing an MMORPG should be shot.

You're always going to need your laptop. While it's true WiFi spots aren't as plentiful as in the US, they exist and you don't need to worry about some WiFi region rubbish. If you get a good adapter with an in-built transformer (and trust me they exist) then you can use this and your US power cable to get your laptop charged anywhere in England. As for the places I recommend going: Cambridge (it's where I was at University!), Down House (Kent, the house of Charles Darwin), The Science and Natural History Museum (obviously), Bletchley Park, and if you don't mind the cost of the train ticket, Bath.
