Kevin Trudeau author and infomercial pitchman has been sentenced him to 30 days in jail and fined him $50,000 for contempt of court resulting from the judge of his case, Robert Gettleman, being sent e-mails from Trudeau supporters. Trudeau asked his supporters to email the federal judge overseeing a pending civil case brought against him by the Federal Trade Commission.
U.S. District Judge Robert Gettleman said he was flooded with hundreds of "harassing, threatening and interfering" emails, locking up the judge's email system and shutting down his Blackberry for part of the day.
Kevin Trudeau has stated that he feels he and his supporters acted within their First Amendment rights. What do you think?

CNN reports that HP is looking into claims that their webcams can't see black people due to a recent recent viral video on YouTube that shows two co-workers taking turns in front of the camera. The camera is supposed to keep people's faces and bodies in proportion and centered on the screen as they move. The camera follows the white woman, but when the black man enters the frame the camera stops tracking. In a case of life imitating art this same issue was addressed in the "Racial Sensitivity" episode of the R&D comedy 'Better Off Ted'.

The BBC reports "Natalie Portman is set to slay the undead in a movie adaptation of best-seller Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, it is reported. Portman will play feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet... The novel, by Seth Grahame-Smith, takes Jane Austen's classic and adds a new subplot in which the story takes place as the dead rise from the grave."

The Escapist highlights a Twitter post by Adrianne Curry, the first winner of reality TV series America's Next Top Model. According to The Escapist, in the post she "announced that after an intense workout at her kickboxing class she would be taking a shower, then spending her Sunday afternoon getting stoned and playing World of Warcraft naked. And then she took a picture to prove it." This adds to the list of hot girls that play WoW which reportedly includes Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible, Buffy), Mila Kunis (That 70's Show, Family Guy), and Sunny Leone (Pornstar). It may be 3.3 patch day the realms are down, but that certainly after that my server is up.

PcMag reports MySpace has "purchased imeem for an undisclosed sum" and that "The transition is already underway... visitors to imeem.com will be directed to MySpace music". This change has already taken place. Currently there is no way to access imeem music or playlists; however the MySpace redirect page reports they are "working to migrate your imeem playlist to MySpace Music". PcMag goes on to ask the question: "Last week it was announced that Apple had purchased Lala , and now MySpace snaps up imeem. Are Pandora and Rhapsody next?"

The moderately-to-severely addicted students were almost five times more likely than non-addicted students to have self-injured six or more times in the past 6 months." Not only is Comcast the largest U.S. cable distributor, it also is the leading Internet service provider to homes.
