I live in RI, where the law is so vaguely written that most online liquor sellers won't ship there, but I managed to find a couple that will...my wine shipments from wtso.com are always sent FedEx, and I always have to sign for them. Since I'm never home to sign, I have them held for pickup at a Kinkos that's on the way home from work. Works great for me; I get wines I can't get locally, and feel like a boss for subverting the dumbass law.

Pay for it, sure....through the nose, not so much. Cable bills are increasing at a rate far higher than inflation (yes we can blame the content providers to some degree), the cablecos do not offer consumer-friendly packages beyond the tantalizing "intro deals", their DVR's are pure crap, their customer service is fair at best, and they offer a poor value.

They can already do de-installs remotely in my area with addressable switchable filters. I cut the cord a couple months ago, (keeping the internet of course), and there was a slight delay of a week or so before they terminated the signal...nobody had to come out, it was all done from the CO.

There was never any proven link between the AMPs and trafficking, it just was the strawman they used to set up the bill.

My issue with data caps is the effect it has on innovation. What good is Netflix, Pandora, et.al. on a mobile device if you can't take advantage of them?

FoxFi can fix that little $30 problem for free. As long as you keep the tethering to a reasonable level they won't bother you.

Have you tried FoxFi for your tethering needs? It works fine on my non-rooted G Nex.
