That's funny, I keep a list of people who have donated to pro-gun control nonprofits. So in the event of zombie apocalypse, I know which undefended houses to rob.
A local library has the same problem. Checkout hardware has drives for XP and Win2k. The service contract to upgrade these machines is far beyond the available tech budget. So this particular library will be running off XP until the hardware dies and replacements can no longer be found; my guess would be another 10 years.

Top notch, Anonymous Coward.
We tried that. Kurt Russell was in and out in under 2 hours.
'Work of Art' is an interesting choice of words. The art world is full of examples of 'art' that shocks and offends the viewer for precisely that purpose.
So when someone says Windows 8 is a 'Work of Art' I have to ask "Do you mean The Mona Lisa or L.H.O.O.Q.?"
This is the kind of thread I save my Mod points for...
Awwww crap I posted.
"Class actions are less about justice but revenge."
Justice, punishment and revenge are nearly impossible to tell apart.. especially in the US judicial system.
Funny is more important than math. But I'll gladly issue a patch:
If ( PirateRate <0) {
logerror("Sales should never exceed delusional expectations. Recalculating...");
ExpectedSales = ActualSales*10;
return CalculatePiracyRate(ExpectedSales, ActualSales);
}
1 - ((Number of sales title actually got) / (Number of sales title the studio wanted to get)) = Piracy Rate.

2-step authentication from Google still requires a cell phone. For anyone who does not own a cell phone (such as myself), it is major hurdle to upgrading the security on my account.
It is a shame google does not sell SecurID or similar key fobs for those who want security, but don't have a cell phone.
"How Will Steam on GNU/Linux Affect Software Freedom?"
It won't. You'll still be free to buy or not buy steam games for Linux.
Just because some people charge money for closed source software that runs on a free operating system, that does not mean you are forced to use that software. It is only when you are forced to used closed software is your freedom impacted.
Try using Windows 8 in a Virtual Machine. Moving the mouse into the lower left corner is impossible when doing so moves the mouse out of the vm window. Added bonus: My keyboard lacks a Windows Button.
Lets just say it's more than a minor annoyance.
Not to mention the majority of people who need hearing aids are of an age group that qualify for Medicare, and thus don't have to pay for them. In other words:
