Rick Copeland founded ConsulTracker.com in January of 2006 to provide consultant timesheet and accounting services over-the-web. Prior and concurrent to this, he has held positions as a Research Engineer at Georgia Tech, Business Programmer Analyst at Assurant, Inc, and engineering consultant at Research Networks Inc. Before this, he was employed as a Senior Systems engineer at Proceler, Inc. There, he developed technology to automatically produce optimized gate-level netlists from a generic datapath description (which in turn was generated from ANSI C). Rick has worked in a variety of roles, from information technology specialist to functional hardware designer to research assistant, and has expertise in both hardware (VHDL, Verilog) and software (C++) design. He holds bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Eckerd College and Georgia Tech, respectively, and a Master's of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech.
