Firstly, this scheme will only if the police are allowed to maintain their extensive facial recognition database that includes millions of innocent people. There has been some outrage over this database, that they were told to shut down, and which is unregulated.

As if the database can ever be shutdown when everyone obediently lines up to photographed ("don't smile, computers don't like it")

She's an opportunist, would fit in as a Communist commissar, Goldman Sachs executive, or even better, royalty. Most Party operatives are the same kind of grifter. That a housewife inheriting a position is supposed to be an icon of female accomplishment demonstrates that the ideology itself is a scam.

And soon you're locking up people for invisibility rings. OK, a "your money or your life" robbery using a banana is worse than pickpocketing, but it's more like 1% worse despite the "emotional damage" drama, while deploying an actual deadly weapon is substantial escalation. But it's not even as severe as a beat-down robbery. Typical trumped up charges from a legal system that endorses police routinely pointing their guns at citizens for minor suspicious.

What good is contraception when you can be forced to pay for children not related to you or simply banned from getting a paternity test? Biology is not the problem, the law is; fixing it will require crushing the Vietnam era "liberation" movement you admire so much, which is really a protracted Soviet-engineered insurgency.
