don't touch anything if it's been up and running for the past 7 years. if you really must replicate then get some more cheap boxes and replicate. it's cheaper and faster than virtual anything. if you must. but 150 users doesn't warrant anything in my oppinion. I'd rather invest in backup links (from different companies) between offices. you can bond them for extra throughput.
exactly!
I thought Nobel laureates aren't arrogant bastards that get a hard on from dismissing people with good intentions?
that SORBS bastard wanted to charge me $50 to take my new block of IPs off his/her/its list!
hah, good luck SORBS is out of business now!
my sentiments exaclty!
try and transfer a 100+ meg file across the network. also put your laptop into standby and then wake it up. see if it doesn't produce an error. also try and play a video (with pretty much any player) for longer than 2 minutes without issues arising. shall I go on?
mine are mostly networking-related with some acpi issues and some XVideo problems
me being one of the early adopters that got stung
I haven't seen so many bugs and reboots since the days of windows 95
it's not
mac are good with batteries, so are other high-priced laptops. stay away from sub-$1000 laptops if battery is your priority.
If you have a procedure with 10 parameters, you probably missed some.
