Journal Journal: So here's a good WI test for you 63

If pockets as deep as Rush Limbaugh are calling you out by name for your perfidy in the Wisconsin John Doe prosecutions, he's pretty confident that even the smartest shark in the tank isn't going to get Ol' Rush To Judgement convicted for libel, no?
A big fat whale like Rush would be sooooo tasty for the Left. They'd probably pour the kind of resources into taking Rush

Do you have the intellectual courage to juxtapose the two cases, and see which passes even a cursory review?
The RS drivel did not. Errors of fact were evident from the beginning.
If you've been paying attention to the better blogs (e.g. written by non-Progressive lawyers) the whole John Doe case has been building for quite a while.
It's some twisted, fascistic business, and well worthy of your time.

Wi-Fi Attack Breaks iPhones By Locking Them Into an Endless Loop 1

An anonymous reader writes: Researchers from Skycure demonstrated a novel attack at the RSA 2015 conference that affects iPhones and other iOS devices. The attack, which takes advantage of new and previously announced vulnerabilities, locks iPhones into a never-ending reboot cycle effectively rendering them useless. Skycure CEO Adi Sharabani explained that this attack began when Skycure researchers bought a new router and were messing around with its network settings. In doing so, they discovered a particular configuration that caused apps in iPhones connected to that router to crash whenever they launched.

We'll have to give it a few decades for facts to creep out, but if it turns out that BHO is the climax of a "soft conspiracy", and amounts to an attack on the country, I will be completely unable to register surprise.
Or maybe he's just a dickhead.
But I'm not sure he's all that substantially more evil than many others cruising at that altitude. The GOP hardly seems to miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity to set about reforming anything.

Why the Journey To IPv6 Is Still the Road Less Traveled 390

alphadogg writes The writing's on the wall about the short supply of IPv4 addresses, and IPv6 has been around since 1999. Then why does the new protocol still make up just a fraction of the Internet? Though IPv6 is finished technology that works, rolling it out may be either a simple process or a complicated and risky one, depending on what role you play on the Internet. And the rewards for doing so aren't always obvious. For one thing, making your site or service available via IPv6 only helps the relatively small number of users who are already set up with the protocol, creating a nagging chicken-and-egg problem.
