Yup. They just did that where I live ... Almost 30% increase spread over 3 years. They also like to use updating or modernizing equipment as an excuse. It's always seemed to me like that sort of thing should have been baked into the price to start with. You know things don't last forever.

They ought to allocate $100 or $200 of the purchase price for a 'free' inspection by a licensed electrician of the main charging location. They could even use it as an opportunity to try to sell charging accessories.
