Sure! How about "Global Thermonuclear War?"
Wait a sec...*who* educated them? Does the US gov't typically pay a foreign student's tuition, or do they have to either pay their own way or manage a grant/scholarship?.
No, we pay for it. With the taxes that go to the public school system.
Another Star Trek gadget may come true?
I see no problem with tossing iphones or ipads.
Can't be. Must be smoke screen for something more exceedingly dumb than the usual stuff.
just wait for the pork...
True, but not many people had those, at least when and where I was in school. I was the oddball with a Casio CFX-9850G.
because you cannot easily prevent a student from cheating with a phone that has outside access to the internet, messaging, etc. The calculators could not talk to each other (without a blatantly obvious cable).
What's wrong with way better? It's informal usage.
Is much better miles better than way better?
greatly so.
I'm still on a grandfathered unlimited AT&T account. I come nowhere near 3GB of usage each month (I'm almost always on WiFi), but I have no intention of dropping down to a cheaper account. It's maddening that I can't get tethering (officially...) without going to one of their crap capped plans.
Exactly the reason I'm still on Verizon's unlimited. Although I try to use the mobile data as much as possible, and with 3rd party tethering apps. Hopefully something changes before my next contract so I don't have to shell out full price for a phone though...
I might have to look into that. I just wish that Kodak had made a non-commercial version of the HR 500
Ah, nice. being able to scan 12 slides in a pass is a nice feature. I just wish that someone had come up with an inexpensive slide scanner that accepts slide carousels. It would be so nice to not have to take all of the slides out of the cartridge, scan them, and put them back in.
A bit off-topic, but what are you using to scan your slides?
I don't want spam, I want pepperoni!
Well, you could order the spam, spam, pepperoni and cheese, that hasn't got much spam on it.
This. I was using my Handspring Visor as a Smartphone in the early 2000's via the Visorphone. I could call, I could browse the web, and even download apps (not that east on a 19k connection, but still...)
