That's a damn good point.
Flash sucks even on real computers, I don't get why people get so worked up about this. Flash can die in a fire. A *poo* fire.
Buy whatever phone you like and shut up about it.
I can! Figuring out why it's bad and what else to do is left as an exercise to the parent. Surely a slashdotter can manage to work google or whatever.

This kind of thing is fairly big in some circles.
It is better for your career and your soul to leave IBM instead.
That and cops are notoriously opposed (and rightly so) to the addition of any cumbersome tech that makes it harder to fire under duress. They'd be the last to adopt something like this.

Sun and Oracle are not US businesses that do business in other countries. They are *multinational* companies. See IBM for an incredible example of a country-agnostic multinational.
