Comment Re:Finally, a solution to abortion politics (Score 1) 367

I wanted to post something like this.

I think you're right -- assuming that the embryo or fetus can be transplanted from a biological to an artificial womb, this should be a legitimate solution to the abortion politics problem. The woman would be able to stop carrying her pregnancy at any time. The Church no longer needs to be worried about the destruction of life. Abortion could be outlawed in favor of this other measure, consistent with pro-life views.

We'll see how far this technology goes.

Nerdfest writes "The lawyers behind the upcoming Apple v. Samsung trial have been hard at work filing docket after docket as their court battle looms closer, and many of those dockets have just been released to the public. We're now seeing a lot of previously secret information about the early days of iPhone and iPad R&D, and what's happened behind closed doors at both Apple and Samsung. Surprises include the iPhone design being 'inspired' by Sony product ideas, and that Samsung was warned that it was copying Apple."

When the fuck did Slashdot become exactly equivalent to Microsoft? I thought this was still a second-hand tech article aggregator and instant DDoS machine.

Call me when you decide to believe that corporations should acquire all of the responsibilities of people if they want to be recognized as people.

So, what you're saying is that if I kill Hitler, then in a really roundabout way, I prevent 9/11?

Also, I didn't even say I was going ti kill Hitler. I was going to get to know him. I doubt I'd have the guts to kill him, especially once I know him, so the Time Corps has nothing to worry about.

Also, I think you mean there was a division of the Time Corps. Or will be, depending on your point of view. But they have to be an organization started in the relative future, who are patrolling the relative past, so they clearly can't exist at this time. Tenses are difficult, I know.
