The tech is speaking with the voice of inexperience. If he says you're "guaranteed 12M down and 3M up" those are the thresholds Comcast has set for "acceptable" service on your package, which I assume is advertised higher than that. If you're below those thresholds they will begin their normal troubleshooting/field tech process.

Yes, I've known for some time that's the case.

Actually, Comcast tech support has told me point blank that I'm guaranteed at least 12M down and 3M up. Actual speeds right now are about 18M down and 4M up.

That was almost word for word the phrasing of the 2nd Amendment, which makes our 4th President essentially the author of said amendment. But he also had this further to say in "The Federalist", in which he DEFINES what it means:

"The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation where the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms." James Madison, The Federalist No. 46

That last one was straight from the author of the amendment himself....

Hulu is partly owned by Comcast. They weren't affected in the first place.

She hated the, as she described, "Capital-D" Deaf Community. At a young age, she was taught so well that people tended to not notice her deafness (including myself on occasion), and she describes how other would call her a "sellout" and a "traitor" for learning a "hearing language". She just simply considers herself bilingual (English and ASL).

Oh, and despite near-total deafness since birth, she could sing... on tune! Karaoke was one of her favorite activities.

She did try to give herself hearing. She once tried a pair of hearing aids that could allow her to very faintly hear sounds, but since all she knew in life was deafness, she couldn't process anything besides 'white noise'. She considered it a failed experiment, but at least she tried it. :)

Granted, I don't see it quite as bright as the bottom photo, but I see it a lot brighter than the top photo.

Not in iOS 7. They changed it to just words on the screen.

The sport agencies' subscriptions will log your IP though, and if you're in the area where the game is taking place, they will block you to make you watch it on TV. Those services will only work for you full time if you use a VPN.

By the time you're actually able to buy this, the cap will be 100.

To be fair, apparently there are these caveats:

1) Once your character is boosted, you'll be thrown into a scenario chain to teach you the higher abilities. You need to pass it to go back into the world.
2) There's still incentive to get your character to 60 first. If you raise a 60+ character to 90, your professions also auto-boost to 600.
3) By the time you can buy this, the level cap will be 100. There's still some leveling to do.

Same here with my own NetSol account... nothing out of the ordinary.

Even then, there's no 100% guarantee. Yahoo Ads just last week had an issue with malware-laden ads.

And even ads supplied by Yahoo and Google aren't immune. Those are the two most reputable ad suppliers, and both have been known to occasionally shove out malware-laden ads. Until I can get a 100% guarantee against ad-based malware, AdBlock+ stays running.

Mine isn't even hooked up to the internet. Even if it was, all it would know is, "Damn, she uses her Mac Mini a LOT!" :D

The reverse is true too. There was a (locally) famous case in Boston about 15 years back where 2 motorists on I-93 were stopped for "endangerment". They were doing the 55 speed limit when prevailing traffic was about 15-20mph higher. They appealed their tickets and lost.

And for the record, at least in MA, "endangerment" is a more serious offense than "speeding".
