Reddit is comprised by a very high percentage of emotional young people. Reddit's voting system ensures that every post complies with its emotional teen hive mind. It is rare you find any valuable discussions on Reddit because the voting system turns everything into a circle jerk.

Free to play games are where the big money is now. League of Legends made $624 million in revenue in 2013. They even gave out $14.3 Million in tournament prize money.
Crossfire (a counter-strike clone popular outside the USA) had the most revenue and made almost a billion dollars in revenue last year.

I agree the shutdown should be easier, but it isn't as hard as you make it out to be.

1. Move mouse to bottom right corner and the menu appears
2. Click Settings
3. Click Power
4. Click Shut Down

There is a way to make a shut down shortcut on your start screen but it is complicated. You should just be able to right click the power button and add it.. really it should be there by default.

Why are people using metro touch apps on desktops and bitching they don't work well with mice?

If you want to use it like a desktop use the same desktop applications that have always been available the exact same way as you would on Windows 7 and you get the exact same interface as on Windows 7.

If you do this Windows 8 functions exactly the same as Windows 7 but with a different start menu. It isn't hard people.

Totally agree with this. Put the stuff that benefits from the performance on the SSD, OS, web browser, etc. Put the other stuff on an HDD.

If you're using the caching method you won't always be getting SSD performance on things that actually matter, but if you use them separately you always get maximum performance.
