Today feels worse than yesterday, my fingers are hurting a little, but going to the boss's (heated) office for halfa, which should help me defrost... until I come back to my desk. Wishing I was in Cairns right about now. :)

The cold kept this idiot in bed this morning, but the late might may have also contributed. :) I live in the city, and work in a warehouse in the Western 'burbs of Melb', and let me tell you, my concrete dungeon (aka, my 'office') is freezing. :( Jumper, fingerless gloves and a scarfe for me at my desk.

Very good point (disclaimer, I love Colin Hay and Men At Work), but keep in mind the song is about Aussieland, and the vast majority of Eucalyptus (gum trees) are native to Aussieland, only about 15 out of over 700 types are found outside Aussieland, so maybe he was there simply to highlight another Aussie icon. Yeah, I love him. He plays at a pub in Melbourne frequently I think, though I've never seen him live. Also had a cameo in two (maybe more?) Scrubs episodes as himself, though potentially a figment of JD's imagination.

I posted up there somewhere about my Debit/Credit card. Linked to my account, is a Mastercard with all the normal credit card numbers so I can buy things off the 'net, but I can only spend what's in my account. This is in Aussieland, btw, not sure about anywhere else. :)

Note that areusche said 'debit'. I've got a debit/credit, which means that it's linked to my account, and I can buy things off the 'net as if it's a credit card, yet I can only spend what's in my account. It's a Westpac Mastercard, with the same numbers as a regualr Mastercard, yet I can't spend more than what's in my account at any given time. Freakin' handy for thinkgeek, ebay... :)

Here in Aussieland, one supermarket chain (can't remember which) pays the GST (Goods and Services Tax) for us. Basically when the GST came out, they kept the 'sanitary products' the same price on the shelf, so we didn't have to pay the 10% extra.

Yeah, she lives in Altona currently, family moved from Wales when she was three (if I remember last night's news program correctly). I drove past her house last night on my way home, the AFP (Aussie Federal Police) car was there, so I guess she was home? Either that or they're protecting her property.

But it was for research! And they found conclusivly they taste great.

Offtopic, but on behalf of everyone with it, if you ever do find what causes exploding head syndrome, please let me know!
