Finally got tired of looking at the old entry when I went to the user page. Don't really have anything to say.
Been enjoying my new Epson 960 Photo printer. Man! What great output! Eats enough ink though. I'm thinking about springing for a continuous flow inking system. Found a couple online but don't really know yet which one to get.
Out of curiosity I checked back yesterday to find that I have not gained any new enemies, but that my list of fans has doubled (two more - lest it sound like marketing hype) giving me a two-to-one edge over those who don't like my words (since they don't know me).
Another interesting observation is that those who count me a friend have (all but one) entries in their journals while those who count me their foe have none. I am choosing to believe that this means I am better liked by literate people than by the unwashed masses. The thought makes me feel better anyway.
Ah, well. Back to work.
It's been some time since I perused the various tabs on my individual user page. Frankly I'd never looked in any of the Friends, Fans, Foes or Freaks tabs because I didn't think there'd be anything there. Today I looked.
I'm amazed to discover I have two
I'm supposing that the two 'fans' must have liked one or more of my quips or perhaps even one of the more serious posts I've made here.
That anyone would have chosen me as a 'foe' is really funny. I've generally held to the philosophy that the more you accomplish the more people are going to be against you. What amazes me is that this really isn't a forum where accomplishments are achieved (unless you count Karma), but where opinions are expressed. That someone would take such exception to an expression of opinion (not an attack) that they would take the time to add the comment's author to their list of enemies..... All I can say is I'm quite happy that I don't share meatspace with such folk.
