I am denying that the amount of zinc mined for this purpose will even register compared to what we already use. The transmission losses are trivial compared to the gains brought by economies of scale. Also, this is for generating hydrogen. Converting it to electricity at the same place or even in a non moving generator completely defeats the purpose.
