corporations also pay taxes (or at least are supposed to). so the 5k in tax kick backs is spread over much more than just the number of residents in residential homes - but to be fair i have no idea what the ratios look like. also your statement supposes that the tax incentives are coming out of the taxes gathered from the population, but they could just be loans (debt) or paid for by other entities like current energy providers that have to offset their carbon footprint.

a better analogy would be - you are a valet and you left the cars unlocked. then someone told your boss that you do a shit job of valeting the cars. you then and go punch that someone in the face.

Whatever his intentions, he was poking around AT&T's web server in a way he knew he shouldn't have been.

the parallel of above is that the someone was looking at the cars parked in a private area. the valet company sells the idea that no one can do that (look at your car when it is parked with them) but then puts your car on the street.

we do not know how significant 1000 extra employees are (other than a 50% increase in expected numbers). What would make it more meaningful would be to know the size of the population of employees who were given the offer (what if 5000 employees were given the offer, what if 500,000?).

so there is not enough info in the summary to make that statement.

im just going to continue down your chain of logic here. since the absence of government = anarchy it follows that private = anarchy. but that is where the problem is - we know that is not true (private != anarchy). & this is why the dichotomy is false - there is a third state that is being ignored.

I do want to point out that this is a highly debatable subject : it is subjective.

no actually there is not. you need to do it and you need to enjoy it in order to be successful, where successful means you have risen to PhD level of accomplishment. if you dont do it you wont be successful, if you dont enjoy it you wont do it (or will do it poorly) and again will not be successful.

I thought the original iphone is 'the same old shit' with a new paint job.

you thought the original iphone is some new shit. (i say original because you reference the point in time when the iphone was released)

i feel that: if you dissect the phones' functionality you see that it is 99.99% same shit. with that .01% looking like a mountain because of some excellent marketing.
