He didn't use the money he made selling drugs to fund weapons deals to destabilize a few countries, and I think if you don't do that dealing drugs is illegal. Or something like that.

Next time if you want to rip off people, swindle them out of their money, flaunt your condescendence towards the law and be a scourge of society, run a bank. Not only is it far more efficient than some petty drug dealing, it's also safer. The worst that can happen if things go wrong is that you get bailed out.

The problem about propaganda, especially in this day and age, is that everyone does it. I wouldn't be too surprised if the same shit goes down on our side of the fence. Just 'cause our media are "free" doesn't mean that they have to tell the truth. It only means their lies may be different from the government's.

Seriously, I'd pay for a halfway decent, balanced NEWS system that gives me news instead of propaganda of this or that flavor. How long 'til the definition of "impartial" is to watch both sides of the propaganda in the vain hope to maybe find the truth in the blend?

Journalism is dead. What matters is sensationalism and entertainment.

I can see how eating a burger and fruit at the same time makes you lose weight. I at least would certainly puke.

Of course, if you take in less energy than you expend then yes, you will have to burn whatever reserves your body has. True. Is it the most efficient way to lose weight? No. Is it something people can actually do? Hell no. You still have to work. And if you thought a smoker trying to quit smoking is kinda grumpy, just wait 'til you see someone not eating right for a few days.

Most people mistake a free press with a press that can (or even wants to) tell the truth. The only thing a free press means is that the press may tell different lies than the government.

By your body going into starvation mode. C'mon, it's not that hard to look up how to lose weight sensibly, it's all over the web. Some of those tips are even good. Hint: It's the ones that don't want to sell you their miracle cure crap.
