Submission + - Previous owner of HyperVM kills himself (indiatimes.com)

GPLHost (Thomas) writes: "The times of India reports that K T Ligesh, 32, previous owner of Lx Labs, hanged himself. What the journalist fails to notice, is that it is most probable that this is a consequence of multiple vulnerabilities that have been published about one of the key software of Lx Labs, called HyperVM, that was used as a web hosting control panel by many VPS providers. This leaves these many VPS providers in the dark, with their servers hacked (seems to me that hundreds of VPS servers have been hacked since), with most probably no hope of having the control panel fixed. Some VPS providers have even loss totally their customer's data (and might not recover from it)."
