I've seen the movie and I didn't think it was any more violent than previous Star Trek movies. And I wouldn't get worried about too many sex scenes.

The movie was great though, speaking from a fan but not uber-fan perspective. Highly recommend it.

Your comparison would be more apt if H&K or Smith&Wesson made guns that were predominantly used to kill people, as the torrents indexed on TPB are predominantly for pirated material. Damn it, see what you've done? Now it looks like I'm defending gun manufacturers and opposing TBP in the same sentence!

What I can't understand is why no-one's taken this to the only logical conclusion: ban all children. No children = No child porn. Problem solved.
