This would probably be handled exactly the way it's handled if somebody's drinking gets in the way of work. Treatment if it's a touchy-feelie company, termination if it's a draconian company, or indifference if it's an average company. To be honest most of your argument would be identical if you replaced "smoking pot" with "being a sober idiot". I don't think anybody would suggest we can really legislate idiocy with any hope of success either.

I would expect it to follow the previous game mechanics. Unfortunately the other games do not all cap at twenty. I remember clearly going well past 20 in FO2 after discovering the in game strategy guide.

Excellent point, maybe you shouldn't call a game without the chance for a failure a game at all. And while you (or anyone for that matter) "playing" without risk of failure doesn't make you a bad person, it does strongly imply that you are not that good at video games. I think this topic is more about revealing psychology thru games then people seem to realize.
