Netflix is fun for the first month but then you've watched everything good and then it's just not worth it. I'll be cancelling my subscription because I think I only used once this month and that was out of utter boredom.
No really aims their mobile camera directly at someone. It'd be awkward holding it that high and using it for starters and it's generally considered rude because the person doesn't know if you're recording them or not and generally sticking anything in someone's face is rude.
I think a lot of people forget Google is still primarily an advertising company (from a profit point of view) and everything they're doing is largely to protect and build that income. Sure they can't give you the facility to record everyone 24 hours a day but if they could they likely would. Their main interest in Glass and the whole wearables thing is to basically tag and monitor you like an animal to help improve their advertising. That should be enough to at least raise some concern but as part of monitoring your all day means monitoring your friends under certain circumstances and unless they're cool with that then it is understand if it annoys them.
Don't steal from other countries then if you don't want it disclosed. While you might not ave any problem with your government helping conduct industrial espionage it shouldn't be done.
How are H1-B visas going to have any effect on the uppoer tier of society? It will just continue the death of the middle class and we'll be left with a society where you either live like a king or in poverty. I'm sure that's what he wants but I can't believe no one wouldn't be able to see through his stupidity.
As we put more online we need to adjust laws to properly punish companies otherwise they'll continue not to care. Fine them something like 50% of their revenue (not profit) for the year of the incident and then they'll start to care.
Maybe English isn't your first language but innovation != invention.
And yeah, you're right. Apple was last to the party on Firewire, thunderbolt, retina displays. While Apple has been packaging the same beige / black boxes, all the real push forward has been on wintel machines.
You can't give your education back. Where as if I can't pay for my home they can take it away from me. Given that a degree is unnecessary for most jobs anyway, I don't see why you should be able to claim bankruptcy to dump your education debt while getting to keep your degree. Seems like it would make more sense to quit telling kids they must get a university education.
You probably don't have much going on I your life. However those of us that deal with lawyers and governments still post the odd letter every now and again.
Except Google is selectively picking areas based on maximising profits rather than providing universal access so it's the same problem. http://www.forbes.com/sites/jo...
Comcast wants to selectively serve areas and be the pipe + content provider. Google wants to selectively serve areas and is a pipe + content provider. Sorry but tell me again where the improvement is?
The problem is broadband in the US is bad enough that too many people are willing to accept one bad deal to avoid another.
