I stopped watching when I saw an episode where they were challenging the assertion that, given a vehicle moving at 30 mph, with a rear-facing air cannon that would shoot at tennis ball at 30 mph, the ball, when fired from the moving vehicle, would simply drop.

Because that turns wikipedia into a Myspace/Facebook clone, where every 2-bit garage band, every marketing campaign, and every nut is free to abuse Wikipedia's services to push their self-image, desilugions and agenda.

Again, what is wrong with that?

Either that, or somebody needs to mark 'The Encyclopedia Everyone Can Edit' and every such claim on Wikipedia 'citation needed.'

You'd love Exalted, then.

Exalted a) has that exact concept baked in, and b) has full-on Super-Saiyan level combat rules for diplomacy. Hell, for changing your party's minds about where to go for dinner, if you really want.

Ah, but perhaps culture drives evolution?

Society A is violent by culture. Therefore, the people who survive and propser, and pass on their genes, in Society A, are those who are better at giving and receiving violence; physical attributes, mental attributes, etc etc.

Society A eventually moves towards a less violent culture. But would the genetics not still be there, unless and until they were actively selected against?

Mine nags me every time there's an update released. There's no unattended update option, but that makes sense for a NAS.
