fittest is technically speaking physical fitness. and in evolution survival of the fittest does not apply to intellect, as in other species the most intelligent one usually lose (why there are no talking lions (lol).

Really? Then how did we become the "fittest" species on the planet when we can't outrun a housecat, much less something bigger that sees us as food?

And somehow a hair over 200 years ago, a group of independent "nations" as it were found a way to be unified. They called it a "more perfect union" I believe, knowing that it would never be perfect but its people would always strive towards it. How did they do it? They sat down and hashed it out... like human beings should.

A unified planet is inevitable. Whereas you might not see what you have to gain, many other nations and their people do. Saying that you don't want others to join you there because it doesn't jive with your world is, quite frankly, selfish.

It's ok to blow things up if you just want to know if "there is water there."

For instance, I just blew up a watermelon 'to see if there was water in there.' It was moist, leading me to believe that there is, in fact, water in there. Then I blew up a junk yard Ford Pinto so I could verify that there was not, in fact, "water in there." As I suspected, there wasn't.

You blew up the wrong Pinto.

The Megadrive, SNES, Cell Phones, and Game Boy all have exceptional games created for them. The only difference between those devices and the WII is that the WII almost requires you to use the motion capture controller and while we've spent over thirty years designing games using joysticks, controllers, and similarly keyboards this motion capture thing is still very new.

Let's also consider, that because out of the top three platforms only one supports motion capture, you might see less of a return on your investment as opposed to just creating a traditional game with existing code and hitting the 360, PS3, and PC.

TLDR: - Technology - Creativity - Existing Code / Legacy - And most of all MONEY

Stand in the way of exceptional games on the WII.

It's called the "Classic Controller". It allows you to play a game in the traditional method. So does flipping the Wiimote sideways.

The problem is that developers see this motion sensing technology and scream "GIMMICK! WE MUST IMPLEMENT GIMMICK!!!!"

Governments, however, do. And are able to monitor such activity. Having your house seized as 'proceeds of illegal activity' is something that would very utterly negate the benefit of using offshore banks.

Really? Last time I looked, activities concerning money in non-US banks, illegal gambling and seizure of homes was all the norm these days.

Sadly, that's the same thing people said about a Firefly movie, and yet...

No hate to the fans, but Firefly is a bit of a niche story vying for space between the Treks, Wars, Battlestars and countless other sci-fi stories (I actually liked Space: Above and Beyond... I now don my fireproof asbestos lined fire suit).

Chrono Trigger is considered to be one of the greatest video games ever made. It constantly makes it into the single digits on "$WEBSITE'S Top 100 List". You can buy CT complete, or for roughly the same money go buy an Xbox360 (but who would do that?).

To a game enthusiast, Chrono Trigger is in a totally different league. There's very little you can compare it to.
