we're in the matrix. someone's freaking simulation.
the only thing we have to let us know is that someone divided by O instead of 0.

would bags of potato chips be acceptable?

I wouldn't say no as in, NO!
more of a, not until solar electric gives me the same or better functionality as what I currently have.
but that should include the ability to make overnight road trips.
until then it falls under, cool but not practical.
Awesome.
I'm going to steal your "urban guerrilla astronomy."
Remember when it wasn't Google's fault that their street view cars intercepted your emails?
Nest uses your home network.
now it won't matter if you're on gmail or not.
and the photon that leaves the cat isn't really the same photon that reflects off the mirror.
on one hand the current in car interfaces are hideous.
there NEEDS to be some brutal completion.
on the other hand, if Google does for my car what they did for personal privacy, just shoot me now.
now maybe if Apple was in on it, they'd have my location 5 km off in a random direction.
my guess would be they are going for the lower latitudes.
launching from higher latitudes requires more fuel for the same orbit.
so either they are lifting a heavier load or going for a higher orbit.
to move just to save money would be totally out of character for the U.S. Gov.

Thanks for the link
so what the NSA is saying is that "We don't want to spy on our own people. The People Made us do it"
William H. Pauley was Nominated by Bill Clinton https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_H._Pauley_III
You remember Clinton and Gore. They gave us Eschelon and NSAKey.
Just saying
I've been watching/considering solar panels as a backup to the grid.
just waiting for the price to be right.
i'm no longer on an iphone, but it was itunes that i hated.
with itunes i had to reboot into windows and then argue with itunes if it was the same PC i used last time.
all i wanted to do was drag and drop my mp3's onto my phone so i could listen to them.
the music player on cydia(i don't remember what it was called) let me do that.
once jailbroken, iphones aren't so bad.
Suggest you just sit there and wait till life gets easier.
