That is not taking into consideration the cost of materials. Which will be incredibly high as these machines are not building iphones out of iron and oil they are putting CPUs into slots, and screwing together cases.
They are probably replacing a $2 a device worker with a $1 a device machine.
You could base the monument off of Flashpoint's alternative universe superman, who was imprisoned in a bunker far away from the sun for his entire life (where he sickened and weakened).
Why eve watch it. I watch movies all the time and still have substantial trouble figure out what genre to store it in. Just go to wikipedia or imdb where groups of people collaborate to figure out which genre to label it as.
Well pushing tech, tech, tech to everybody and their grandmother does create a glut of workers, but it does not necessarily get you any more truly competent workers (or get you any more people interested in anything other than the salary). In fact the glut of incompetence might actually ruin a few ones with potential.
Yes, absolutely.
But at the same time no one ever said that Science was a democracy. Just because 97% of scientists believe that the current model is correct does not really give any more credence to it than is only 3% believed it. The majority of people believe that there is a god, that doesn't mean that the model saying that "god created the universe" is the most likely to be correct one (made even more so since it has been the accepted one for tens of thousands of years).
I guess at the end of the day scientific fact/knowledge is an individual pursuit. The data and the methods are there for anyone to use and you cannot just survey and go with the percentage over 50%.
So what is "deep" space supposed to mean?
I came in thinking that it must be outside the solar system, but apparently "deep-space" rockets take you to the moon.
Which really by my definition is hardly even space. On the moon you are still basically still at Earth, it is part of the system of the planet as much as the gasses that are trapped by its gravity (which we call its atmosphere).
"One of many, many parts that's had to be swapped out over the past year due to rust damage."
Which I think is were the costs saving come in. You do not get ongoing revenue generated from deteriorated parts when the parts are made of something that does not rust.
Canada here.
Google does not appear to be listing any hidden results, but I am also not getting any results that appear relevant on the first page.
But google is very location dependant, it probably only used to return that result for people (on the first page) in the general area of that specific will brooker and his scams. I would probably have to type in the town, province, or country name to get the result.
That is another big problem. Google should onyl get requests for content they specifically host, and in the cast of google blogs it should go to the original content creators themselves.
Google should be getting zero requests the only content they create is a few employee blog posts and new announcements.
