On this conference Microsoft spread the word that they support Open Source Software and they do have an OSS strategy. We consider eComStation 2.0 to be the biggest overhaul of OS/2 so far. Together with a team of both hired and volunteer developers, we have extended the functionality, removed limitations, updated hardware support as far as possible, and resolved close to 1000 issues that had been reported since the release of eComStation 1.2R. martiniturbide writes: "The tv show "The Simpsons" had been banned in Ecuador and can not be aired from 6:00am to 21:00 since the local goverment considered not a family show. Teleamazonas, was notified about this yesterday and today removed "The Simpsons" from their common air time (12:30 from Monday to Friday). It had been replaced with "Futurama"."

On the release notes it indicates this version supports OOXML support (I guess they have no other options since MS ownes this market). SmartSuite password protection support for spreadsheets.Widgets Catalog server support. Improved print performance. and other Usability enhancements."
