I bought my MBP at Best Buy and I could also return it within 30 days. Whoopie-fucking-do. Not that it matters because he bought his two months ago. Additionally, it would not have been possible to for Lenovo to provide an upgrade to an existing model with this new tech since it's an entirely different part that uses a PCIe 3.0 interface rather than a standard SATA interface. In short, none of your arguments apply.

Too bad history isn't on your side. Look at inflation numbers since the catastrophically HUGE bailout that occurred over the last banking crisis. The value of the dollar should have collapsed based on your assumptions but that didn't happen. At the end of the day, the dollar is the only game in town in spite of it's storied past. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is as stable as a three legged table.

You seem to be making a big assumption: that GHCQ was using illegal methods to track drug dealers. Please show me the evidence that they were doing that. This whole "they did x wrong, so y and z must be wrong too" shit is getting really old. For some reason, the people of /. give Snowden a pass on everything because SOME of the things he exposed were of questionable legality, meanwhile ignoring the fact that he also completely fucked over the legal efforts that were going on. I would say it's you and your vast ilk who aren't seeing straight. In the meantime, feel free to enjoy all the new drug addicts and other costs for letting these fuckers get away with the shit they are doing. Next time you see a kid high on heroine, thank Snowden.

I never said he fabricated anything but it's not hard in benchmarks to set them up to favor whatever you want. It's not hard to find examples of people in the software industry making their pet languages, frameworks, or whatever look better than the competition. It happens ALL THE FUCKING TIME. And I'm sure he makes a ton of money consulting to Microsoft (yes, his own blog says he consults there). So yeah, there's a financial interest alright.

It's a weak argument to say that a former Microsoft employee might be biased towards Microsoft tech? He's been away from Microsoft for 10 years but Code Complete was published in 2004. So he wrote that book while still a Microsoft employee. Additionally, he still lives in the same area which is dominated by Microsoft tech. What's your argument other than calling me sarcastic? None? Thought so.
