Your conclusion that people are going to lose interest in a couple of years is completely disproved by the fact that Mac sales are up 18% year over year. They are growing in popularity. Everyone knows at this point that repair options for Apple products are limited and they seem to be ok with that. In fact, other companies are emulating this concept and are making devices that are more and more difficult to repair as time goes on.

As someone who just recently bought a SP3 and will be returning it shortly, I agree with your post wholeheartedly. The thing is just awkward in so many ways and is a terrible tablet. That said, if you want a very portable laptop that you won't actually be using on a lap but a real desk and don't mind the tiny screen, it's a good option.

When you spend more than you make, you're losing money. It's not a philosophical discussion but basic math. Now, it's possible the investments they are making now will pay off in the future but only time will tell if that's true. Regardless, the company is still crazy overvalued and some people are going to lose a lot of money investing in that stock (some already have).

They CAN provide the information requested but they have to shutdown the system to do it. Otherwise, they don't have space and the system will auto delete everything over a certain age. There's just no room to keep the system running without delete functionality active. You could argue that they should shut it down until it's audited but that would require you actually read instead of rant.
