bazorg writes: Rick Falkvinge of the Swedish Pirate Party blogs on the subject of freedom of the press and foresees how users of Google glasses can be charged for possession and distribution of illegal porn. multitouch and more precise screen, perhaps capacitive

The N900 has a much preciser screen than any capacitive I've yet to try. Though I admit, I have never used a capacitive screen with a stylus. To me, the N900 resistive screen is way better, precisely because it can correctly interpreting me pointing with a nail, which is orders of magnitude more precise than if I would have to use my fingertip.

The other things I can agree on, most of them natural since the N900 is already many years old.

If you have a street full of limonade sellers who sell it at 99 cents per cup, and you have a limited amount that you can sell at 50 cents, you won't do so. There's not enough of your product to have an effect on the market price. So your price will converge towards the common price.

This is only true if the market absorbes all the lemonade you are collectively able to produce. If not, then you lower your prices in order to attract the customers (and thus not have to take your unsold lemonade back home when the day is over), which creates competition on price.

Of course, the oil market absorbs all it is given, so in this context, you are right.

Thank you! This is almost exactly my idea, with only some small variations in how to ensure companies report an honest value for their IP. Nice to know someone else has been into the same lines of thought. And someone from Berkeley, no less!

Now on to getting the idea into law. Should be a small matter...
