World's Largest LAN Party

ZwedishPzycho writes: "DreamHack, the world's largest LAN party, kicked off today and goes through Dec 2 in Jönköping, Sweden. The event has over 8,000 registered gamers and is expected to attract over 15,000 people in total. The 120,000 cans of Jolt sold makes up 30% of Sweden's annual consumption. In addition to the LAN-party, it is also a demoparty and computer festival. Tickets to the event cost gamers 720 kronor (or approx US$114)."
