Deathlizard writes: It's looking like the hardware acquisitions aren't over for Oracle. The Second Largest Software company announced at their latest annual meeting that they are looking for another chip manufacture to acquire. Names being thrown around by analysts include AMD, Nvidia, and IBM's Chip division.

Deathlizard writes: Found on the Sunbelt Security Blog, A new Spamming Virus was found on Facebook, which in of itself is nothing new, Except that in order to spread, it tricks the user to copy and paste the exploit code into the Address bar of the browser, bypassing any automated protection scheme without using any browser or OS exploits.

Deathlizard writes: From TechCrunch, Palm has announced it's plans for the Pre Marketplace. Highlights include full web distribution through the use of a standard URL supplied by palm as well as an App catalog for paid apps with a flat $50 fee, No app approval process unlike the IPhone, and open source projects will be able to waive the $99 yearly development fee.
