What's funny is his complaints are mostly about apps. On an Android. Where you can mostly replace the functionality without fanfare.

Just a word of warning: My current coworkers have been on the job for 8, 12, 15, and 17 years respectively. Three of the four are idiots, resistant to change, and like doing things backward because it's comfortable (we're still using Classic ASP and VBScript for our webpages, exposed SQL server, build 70% of queries in code, filter data in code loops instead of bulk where clauses). Sometimes, they have no choice but stay because they're too incompetent to move on and the manager is too dumb or spineless to fire them.
If they think it adds to the value of the house in some way, yes. They'll grasp at every last penny they can in an effort for tax money.
We consider these services to be in quantum hyper-position states until a need is chosen.
One can hope that if this goes through they put the designated parking spots at the back of the parking lot.
Not many people transmitting x and gamma rays.
As someone with one of those trucks destroyed by ultra-low sulfur diesel, it's true. If I don't include additive with every tank, I'm risking a costly injection pump replacement. Older injection pumps relied on the fuel as a lubricant internally and the ultra-low sulfur diesel doesn't provide that. Older trucks are either using additive, or have had a $1500+ repair to upgrade/replace the injection pump. That's more than some of those trucks are worth.
I've got no problem with cannabis, I've got a problem with people wanting to ban things. I cannot partake of it, but I don't wish to deny it to those who wish to.
As someone that occasionally and responsibly brews and enjoys alcohol, but is allergic to MJ: fuck off.
You mean space shuttles and naval ships that have an army of support engineers constantly maintaining them at very high cost? Or vehicles where electronics failure generally isn't life threatening and failure modes are taken into account which lead to the electronics doing nothing?
And jamming the signal doesn't require a lot of time. There would be a limited number of chips driving the technology with a known frequency list. Easy enough to create a jammer.
Mandate smart guns and see how quickly smart gun jammers become available. Despite being illegal, we have cellphone jammers for relatively cheap. I don't see anything stopping thieves from doing the same if it means they can't be shot at.
One potential suspect on a network and the cops suddenly want the capability to spy on the whole network unimpeded? That sounds like a GREAT idea. Oh, wait...
It's not the culture, it's the supportive society and power they're lamenting the loss of. The more deaf there are the more pressure they can exert politically for support, the more people the deaf have with which to share something in common, and the more they can feel special/different/unique/etc. It's 100% selfishness on the part of the deaf community; particularly for those which cannot utilize the implants for various reasons. They're attempting to use political correctness to equate handicap to beauty instead of individuality to beauty.
Gah, the day I don't have mod points.
But if you rule out a reasonable amount of everything else, attempting to treat depression may give results.
