A website called http://www.InkAfterLife.Com is offering one of the most disturbing services I have ever seen. You can send in cremated remains of a loved one or pet. They will then create a "custom ink formulation" and create a "beautiful memorial photo using that blended ink." So, good ole Dad could hang around on your living room wall keeping an eye on you, literally!
I am not sure what is worse. The fact that someone thought to do this for a living, or the thought that there is enough of a demand for this service that someone was able to create the business. Whats next, Tattoos after life?

Club Live can be found a http://club.live.com./ The site is provided by Microsoft. The jist
of the site is simple. Microsoft offers several games that can be played online to earn 'points'.
These points can then be traded for 'prizes', such as Xbox 360's, USB Drives, PC games, gaming gear, etc.
There are no fees invloved and no cost to play. The (supposedly) even ship your prize for free!
Well, gathering enough points to get a prize is no easy task. The average small prize will
take you a couple of weeks of gameplay to acquire enough points. The games offered are all
integrated in Microsoft Search, so for every trivia answer, etc, you give, an autmoated search
runs thru the Microsoft search engines. I am sure the whole idea here is to get more clickthru's
and search rankings, and possibly even more advertising dollars. Regardles, I am sure there is
something big in it for Microsoft. Lets face it, Billy never hands over something for nothing.
After about two weeks of gameplay, I finally have enough points to order my Memorex 256MB USB stick
that I had my eye on. I ordered the USB stick on 7/30/2007. I recieved an email stating that I should
have it in 4 — 6 weeks. Well, I emailed customer support on 9/15/07 to get the status of my order since
I still have not recieved my prize or any communication about its expected ship date. As to be expected
by anyone that has dealt with Microsoft Support in the past, I never recieved a response.
My second attempt to contact customer support was 10/1/2007. And, guess what? you got it, still no response!
Hey, but dont worry right? Like the site said, a rep will get back to me in 24 hours. I would love to know how
much money my gameplay earned Microsoft just so the can turn around and burn me.
To anyone reading this, don't was you time on Club Live, you will be disappointed.
