I have been using MSI motherboards since the late 90s with never a single problem. I am presently putting together a cluster based on MSI 970A-G46 9 AM3+ motherboards, quad core Phenom processors etc... CentOS 6.3 is perfectly happy with it... Not sure what distro you are using, but it sounds more like the Linux version you are using isn't supporting current hardware, instead of non standard hardware... I've been known to be wrong before though.

Now wait just a second here... What on earth does SCO, the Tea Party, and sausage suckers have to do with each other? Last time I checked the party of sausage suckers and tool polishers was the Democrats, the party of business was the republicans. The Tea Party folks, as far as I can tell are more aligned with the libertarians, maybe a little bit more socially conservative, but still pretty libertarian in their viewpoints... Smaller government, lower taxes, etc... No matter how you slice it, when it comes to American politics and government, it's all bologna anyway...

But I honestly believe Parental involvement is a KEY factor in controlling the development of a child. If I were issuing the grade it would be F -. If you believe that Violent video games have a damaging impact on your child, and then you bring a game console into your home, allow your child an allowance, and do not monitor that child's usage of said console, or time spent with his / her friends, what right do you have in being surprised when your child is impacted by something you do not approve of. It's not the government's, nor is it the media industries job to raise YOUR child. Be an adult and do your job!
