My single video card is more expensive than your XBOX 360 combo + PS3 combo + Vii combo, plus 1 year subscription fee for each. I can turn video settings on my game to use 3 screens, 2048x1536 each, and get 100 FPS : 10ms response time. I can see you and kill you before you even notice my existence. Use a Li-Ion battery needs you being informed and take relatively simple ways to treat it right. Nothing is idiot proof.

My more than half year old laptop (Bought Nov '09) come with a standard 6-cell 4400mAH battery still lasts 5hrs idle and about 3-4 hrs active use. Secret? Don't over charge it, or over drain it!

Think battery chemistry as rubber bands, you don't want it to be in tention all the time. If you need it to be off or plugged in for a long time, charge the battery to 70% and take the damn thing off.

That way my battery still holds almost 95% designed charge.

Anyway DO expect battery charge to decline through time but your usage pattery has a large influence to it.
