I ran across a news article about a Oregon Detective that says:
http://www.gazettetimes.com/articles/2007/08/25/ne ws/community/1aaa03_computer.txt
Sometimes defendants blame a "magic pornography downloading computer virus" for child pornography found in their computer, Posler said. But there is no such thing, according to Posler, and even if there were, it couldn't make folders to save favorite images and catalogue them."
Granted he talking about child pornography but, the statement is still to broad.
I couldn't believe what I was reading! I worked in the computer repair industry for many years and I cleaned up thousands of Windows based systems. I've seen many virus's, Trojans and Zombies that create folders and download porn, malicious programs, spyware, nukers ect.
I can't help but, wonder how many lives are dependent on this type of misinformation.
How many of our nations experts are like this? Or is that state the exception?
Thank you
