Anonymous is (in this case) demanding that wikileaks be treated fairly (fair from their point of view) and protesting the scum like paypal, visa and mc cutting wikileaks off.
The raw bandwidth from these attacks are nowhere near enough to take out anything. I believe I read that it was something like 20 MBit/s or something.
It's called "revenge" and isn't necessarily very rational. They probably hope that this will make companies think twice the next time they try to silence free speech.

Privacy party or integrity party would be better imho since that is the true core of the pirate party. Regardless, I don't think there is anything wrong with calling yourself the pirate party. It gives a bit of extra publicity in the beginning and people will become used the name eventually and will think nothing of it.
Huh? I wasn't aware of the large amounts of terrorism that was occurring at that time. Are you confusing guerilla tactics with terrorism? Also, violence has rarely solved a problem without creating a bigger one.
So how will it be possible to drag a window that is too narrow to have blank space at the right side of the menubar? Or what about when someone wants to drag a window to the right, partially outside the edge of the screen?

I personally dislike the taste of alcohol quite a bit and drink a couple of times a year; mostly because I'm trying to figure out what the appeal is. I'm not picky in the least when it comes to food. The only things I try to avoid is soup (why dilute perfectly good food, damnit!). When it comes to alcohol I loathe beer and red wine. I've tried multiple times and never managed to drink the entire contents of a beer bottle because it just tastes too horrible.
