we can make a class action agains them and make them review all the stupid patents, because they are stopping the advancement of the technology and the society.

i teached my mum how to read the f*** messages... i just stand in front of the monitor and asked her to read the message, then i asked her to explain me the error, the first 10 times she read the message it was like "perss esc key to solve all problems in your life" and she answered i dosent understand, i make she reads the message like ten times until she reads it like a human and not like a robot. now or she read and proccess the messages or she is to affraid to ask me... any way, thats worked

the joomla! approuche is a smart one. when someone start editing an article the core block it and its keep blocked until the current editor save it, if the editor get disconected the article remains blocked until the editor reconect and save it or and admin unblock it. it use ajax to automatic save the article from time to time. maybe you can use something like that but you give every one the avility to unblock a register. cheers
